Lobster Bakes are a big part of what makes summers in New England so special.  Lobsters, steamers, corn & potatoes are grilled over seaweed out on the beach. 

My husband and I were married in Maine over 20 years ago.  The night before our wedding, on a hot July evening, we celebrated with a lobster bake - many of our friends came from other parts of the country and had never experienced a Maine lobster bake before.  This design is inspired by that wonderful evening and many lobster meals enjoyed up in Maine since then. 

If you've not been to a lobster bake in New England put it on your bucket list!
